Instagram Bio Link Won’t Save or Keeps Disappearing? Fix
Your Instagram bio link won’t save, or it’s gone the next morning. Instagram rarely says why. Go through these checks in order. Each one rules something out, and the last ones tell you when to stop trying.

The checks, in order
- Load the URL in a browser. Paste it into Safari or Chrome. If it errors or redirects strangely, fix that first.
- Strip tracking parameters. A long address full of ?utm_… or other parameters is more likely to fail validation. Use the clean address.
- Update the Instagram app and restart it. A failed save is sometimes just the app. Use a stable connection, not a weak signal.
- Save once, then wait. Repeated edits in a short time can hit an edit limit and make the problem look worse than it is.
- Check from outside your account. Open your profile from a second account or a logged-out browser. Your own view can show a link that others don’t see.
- Check your account status. Look in Instagram’s settings for Account status. A restriction would explain why edits don’t stick.
If it keeps getting removed
Treat repeated removal as a flag on the destination or the account, not a glitch. Appeal through Instagram’s own help flow, wait for the answer, and don’t keep re-adding the same address in the meantime. Check which link you posted where; a Highlights sticker, a story link and the bio can all be reviewed separately.

- Create a short link in Linkamy (Create link, with your Fanvue URL as the Destination).
- Put that short link in your bio once.
- When your offer changes, edit the link’s destination in the dashboard instead of rewriting your Instagram profile.
This keeps your profile stable and means fewer edits to the one place Instagram limits. It is not a guarantee: if Instagram flags the link, a short link is still a link.
